Hi, I'm Sam. I'm a curious human who spends time designing systems, leading teams, building software, facilitating workshops, and making art, among other things.
My work is about how people relate to each other: how we make decisions and agreements, how we learn together, how we have conflict and repair, how we build trust and take risks, how we collaborate toward shared goals. I explore those questions at many scales - from internal parts work to pairs and small groups, all the way up to large organizations and cultural movements.
My background spans many disciplines - engineering, computer science, product management, UX research, somatic psychology, instructional design, language acquisition, dance instruction, and many more.
